Too much cake!!

I just got home from my mom's house for an early birthday celebration with my family and I am stuffed. This may be also from less physical exercise than I'm used to. Most times I work out 6 days a week, but Friday because of my 13 hour work day and this weekend because of the new puppy I haven't had a workout. I was even going to do a workout on TV, but I couldn't find the time.

For breakfast I had a parfait with berries, TJ High Fiber cereal, and yogurt.

Because we were home I got the munchies, not even that hungry this may be partly hormonal, but I just feel when I'm home it is harder to stop mindless eating. I was having pretzels and crackers. I took this picture, but I had another plate like this one:

After all that snacking I wasn't even hungry for lunch, but I made Steve and I a cous cous dish. I included cauliflower, asparagus, tomatoes, morningstar crumbles, a little EVOO, and salt and pepper. This is really really good. This was the first time I used asparagus in it, usually I use broccoli.

We went to the mall to run a few errands and I had an sugar free nonfat iced latte. We went over my mom's around six. She had a display of snacks as she normally does and I made this plate, and I stuck to drinking sparkling water with lime:

Dinner was ready around 7:40 and I had a grilled mushroom, some bean salad, some more chips, and some veggies. I grabbed the smallest plate I could find because I have felt full all day and didn't want to feel stuffed.

My husband ordered an ice cream cake from Bruster's with Cherry Chocolate Chunk Frozen Yogurt and yellow cake. The icing is my favorite part.

Here is my first piece, I then went back for some more icing and had another little sliver and took another oreo off the top.

I can't wait to get a good workout in tomorrow and do Pilates, my body needs some movement. I also know that since my birthday is Tuesday I will be indulging Tuesday night with my husband and my friends are coming over to celebrate Friday night, so I need to make sure my stomach is happy by at least working out if I am going to eat foods my body isn't used to.

It is time for us to get ready for bed....Good Night!

Such a cute puppy! I also love the look of that cake. It reminds me of the Oreo ice cream cake from Coldstone that I often get for my birthday. But Cherry Chocolate Chunk frozen yogurt sounds SO much better! Happy early birthday to you, Aimee :o)
